21st Century Learning Centers Program helps schools stay open longer to provide
youth tutoring and homework help, academic enrichment, college prep activities,
technology education, supervised recreational opportunities, and services for
youth with disabilities. These school-based community learning centers, located
in each of the seven school districts in lower Yakima County, will offer a
range of academic and recreational activities for students. |

Readiness-to-Learn (RTL) program links students and their
families to services that increase the probability of students learning and
growing toward graduation. RTL provides services to students in grades K-12 who
are referred by school staff and social service agencies to an RTL case manager

social services to families in targeted neighborhoods. |
